The Dragon

Sorry for the wait...

Hey everyone,
I missed art class this week because of a birthday party, so I haven't started any big projects yet. I should have something up by Sunday. Meanwhile, I did this drawing of a dragon flying overhead a few days ago. I didn't exactly put much effort into it (it only took me eight minutes), but it turned out okay-ish, and I got to try out some new charcoals I got. Because Elysha's camera doesn't work with my mac, the picture will be in the next post because it's a pain to copy everything from my computer to hers.

P.S. I kind of underestimated how large the dragons wingspan would be, so the left wing got cut off quite a bit. Oh well :)

Christmas Images

Hey Guys,
I know it's just a LITTLE late to be posting pictures from Christmas, but I've been busy with homework and what not so here we go =D

Here is our 9 foot tree after we opened the presents and we had cleaned everything up.

Here is the Tiffany braclet I got for Christmas from my mom and dad. Thank you mom and dad!

Here's my little cousin Mckenna on Christmas eve. Behind her on the chair is my uncle and ont the fireplace thing is my aunt. This was taken right after we opened our presents.

Heres me all decked out in my new CHristmas clothes. Im pretty sure I got all of American Eagle for Christmas! My mom took this picture thinking she was so artistic taking the picture on an angle. I have to admit, it's pretty cool!

Here are the pointsettas at my Nanas house. My camera takes pictures in black and white so I decided to try the pointsetta in both colour and black and white

This guy, well gal right here is a dog we found wandering the streets on Christmas night. The poor thing was freezing cold, so we took her home with us. Her owners found her the next day

Next Project

Hello Everyone,
I need an idea for my next art project. I'm thinking landscape. I doubt anyone is actually reading this but if you are, any thoughts? And also, what medium. I haven't really thought about that yet. Thanks for any ideas!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hey Guys! I was looking at a friends blog when I came across Scavenger hunt Sundays. I decided to give it a go.

1.Smile

This is my Grade 6 school Picture! I was franticly looking for something to post for this and I came across so I decided to use it!

2.Standing Alone

This is a picture of a purple magnet on the side of the fridge. There is no other magnets surrounding the one magnet

3.Rusty Or Something Old

This is the fireplace in our living room. Yes, I am aware that the photo is sideways : )

The thing is very big and very old

4. Artificial

These are the little metal dragon flies on the wall above my bed. They are really cute!

5.Repeating Pattern

I thought that the spiraly thingies on the edge of my school planner would make a good repeating pattern. All it does is go around and around and around and around!

Robot

A drawing I did a few days ago. I used charcoals and graphite. I think that the contrast in shades really makes it look 3D. I take art classes on saturdays, so I do quite a few drawings there. Here are a few pics of it. The drawing is too big to fit in our scanner, so the pictures are slightly blurry. Also, the right side of the robot is quite a bit darker than the left, so I don't know why it looks so bright. If I can get a better picture, I'll post it.

Thanks for checking out our blog! Me and my twin brother Tyler  are new at this and have no stinkin idea what the heck we are doing! XD  Tyler's job is the art and mine is the photography. We are only 12 so we aren't very experienced. We just randomly decided to start a blog and so here we are!

Hello World!!! Part 1

I'm Tyler, and me and my sister Elysha are making this blog to showcase our skills (which aren't that great  yet, but as this blog progresses hopefully will become better). I am the artist and Elysha does photography. This is just kind of for fun right now, so we'll see how it turn's out.
